The ruined walled plain Deslandres appears along the terminator at the top of this image; it is approximately 234 km across. To the east and slightly south is Walter, a smaller walled plain which contains a cluster of several 5-km craters. South of this pair is a series of features stacked on top of one another beginning with Orontius (the large irregular walled plain south of Deslandres); to the east are craters Huggins (65 km) and Nasireddin (52 km). The large walled plain near the bottom of the image on the terminator is Maginus (163 km).
